Assalamualaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Masjids of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish regular prayers, and pay Zakat, and fear none (at all) except Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance.” (al-Tawbah 18)
A Masjids is the best of places. It is more blessed and virtuous than all other places. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The most beloved of places to Allah is the Masjid, and the most detested of places to Allah is the marketplace.” [Sahîh Muslim]. There is great reward in building a Masjid for Allah’s sake. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî, Sahîh Muslim & Sunan al-Tirmidhî]
